Mannheim. Norbert Hinckers will leave the Executive Board of
VRmagic Holding AG at the end of 2017. Markus Schill will remain as
Chairman of VRmagic Holding AG and CEO of VRmagic GmbH and VRmagic
Hinckers played a major part in building and shaping the company since it was founded in 2001. The decision was taken for personal reasons. Hinckers will remain associated with the company as a shareholder. The Supervisory Board and shareholders regret his departure from an operational role and thank him for his successful work.
VRmagic GmbH develops and markets virtual reality simulators for medical training. Today, VRmagic is the world leader with its Eyesi® training systems for eye surgeons, counting over 300 installations worldwide. Since 2003, cameras for image processing in industry and science have been a second business division, leading to the establishment of VRmagic Imaging GmbH in 2016. Both companies belong to the VRmagic Holding AG, founded in 2008. VRmagic currently has 70 employees at its headquarters in Mannheim.
