VRmagic is the world-leading supplier of virtual reality training simulators for training ophthalmologists. Using state-of-the-art technology, Eyesi simulators from VRmagic offer an extremely realistic learning environment in which medical specialists can train their diagnostic and surgical skills on virtual patients.
In a second business division, VRmagic develops and markets camera systems for machine vision applications. The product range extends from external analogue-to-digital converters and FPGA components with integrated image processing through to programmable intelligent cameras with their own Linux operating system. For 3D applications, VRmagic offers FPGA-based multi-sensor cameras with up to four remote, pixel-synchronous sensors.

Developer for Firmware and Drivers
Tasks
- Maintenance and further and new development of
- Linux-based firmware for ARM SOCs
- Independent firmware for 8-bit µCs
- Driver software for Linux (x86,x64,ARM)
- Driver software for Windows (x86,x64)
Requirement profile
- Very good programming skills in C
- Very good knowledge of the Linux kernel
- Experience in development for embedded systems and for 8-bit µCs
- Experience in development of driver software
- Outstanding ability to work in a structured and goal-oriented manner as part of a team
