The Eyesi Ophthalmoscope training system provides multiple-choice questions and medical background information to guide trainees in identifying the typical findings for a given pathology and choosing an appropriate treatment. Information on the virtual patient include patient history and referral causes. Trainees can call up additional case-relevant information and differential diagnoses.
The Fundus Scheme Editor
Trainees can document their diagnostic findings in a fundus scheme editor simply by placing the respective conventional symbols on the touchscreen. Additional information on findings can be entered in the findings editor.
The Diagnosis Specification Tool
A multiple-choice diagnosis specification tool allows trainees to describe their diagnostic findings in detail.
Evaluation
All diagnostic findings and diagnosis specifications made by the trainee are evaluated by the system for immediate feedback. more
