VRmagic cameras support HALCON
2 June 2008 Mannheim. The camera manufacturer VRmagic is now a new partner in the MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program. With release 8.0.2 of its HALCON image processing software, MVTec now provides an interface to cameras from VRmagic.
“A complete HALCON interface has probably never before been programmed in just 10 days,” said Christoph Zierl, Development Manager at MVTec, who was full of praise for the fast software integration by the development engineers at VRmagic. “Both the HALCON Imaging Acquisition Interface and the VRmagic SDK are well documented and highly structured, and this meant that it was possible to achieve fast integration,” commented Thomas Ruf, Development Manager at VRmagic, who was also extremely satisfied with the excellent cooperation.
MVTec and VRmagic will continue to work closely together in maintaining and supporting the interface. HALCON users can download the new software from the MVTec website.
