Through various functions for camera control and picture acquisition - e.g. the access to the raw image of the sensor - cameras by VRmagic qualify for simple as well as demandig applications. The storage of calibration data and up to nine user configurations on the camera facilitates the operation in complex projects.

Presenting the VRmFC-x series of FPGA-based cameras VRmagic opens new perspectives on industrial image processing: with the support of USB 1.x the components meet industrial computing standards. The use of cable lengths up to 45 metres is practicable as well as data transmission via non high frequency compliant cable connections. An internal buffer prevents loss of image data and optimizes the use of bandwidth when operating multiple USB components. Individual IP cores in the FPGA make the VRmFC-x cameras smart image processing components that allow for integration of customers´ algorithms on the camera device.
